Growth has no endpoint.

Your quality of life is linked to the value you place on each dimension of wellness. Lifestyle changes are psychological and physiological. Transcending your wellness and performance represents more than the absence of disease.

Sinew is a tough band of fibrous connective tissue that unites muscle to bone. It is capable of withstanding tension while efficiently storing and recovering energy so muscles can generate greater force.

The foundation of wellness is our innate drive to actualize our true potential. The key is understanding our desire to realize fulfillment is weak, habitual, and easily stifled by cultural pressure and egocentric desires.

Wellness is about accountability.

“If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.”
~
Henry David Thoreau

Our sense of purpose connects us to everything life has to offer.
Authentic expression of our True Nature grounds us to the rest of the world.

Only a mindful path to optimum wellness and performance in life and sport will delineate effort from struggle. Suffering and challenges foster our greatest strengths and propel the fibers of our being.

“Misery loves company.”
~
John Ray

Self-actualization means we have both learned to love the questions and seek answers from within not outside ourselves.

Optimal wellness and performance mandate an integrative approach to the whole person.
Mindfulness manifests synergy which cultivates self-actualization.

The tacit connection of seemingly disparate elements is often overlooked. You must be able to envision daily what does not exist in order to thrive on the wellness continuum. Risk is the catalyst.

Mind, body, and spirit must become whole in order to create synergistic solutions to transcend your health, performance, and potential in life and sport. Possessing the courage to embrace risk and difficulty is vital to your growth and ability to serve others.

“Nothing is so strong as gentleness, nothing so gentle as real strength.”
~
Saint Francis de Sales

Our level of self-awareness is an indicator of our level of intrinsic and extrinsic connectedness.

Lifestyles are determined by habit.
One of the most insidious aspects of habit is its ability to dull awareness and; consequently, discipline.

Awareness and discipline represent the keys to mindfulness.

When you merge the results-oriented tenets of mindfulness with the principles of Performance Medicine™ it will empower you to master the difference between effort and struggle in life and sport.

Our connection to the ethereal is not a dualistic path, but rather, a journey on which our mind, body, and spirit become whole. The environment we choose will either propel or impede our growth during each crucible.

The key to understanding your Noble Truth is simply to get out of your own way.

“Privileged”

Take time to assess your self-talk, and your reactions to inconvenience, strife, traffic, or the weather. You believe what you perceive; you are connected to it – like it or not.

Your attention to the present moment must be unequivocal in order to maximize your wellness and performance. It is a daunting but necessary task considering your ego always seeks but never finds fulfillment.

Your ego inherently pollutes your focus with perceived fulfillment and incessantly taunts you to seek higher levels of intangible satisfaction. This is a losing proposition. Egocentric thought always leads to frustration and disappointment. The mind must serve the spirit in order to excel.

Though we cannot control everything life delivers we must remain mindful of our power of choice. You can choose to eliminate the clutter in your life but not your connection to it. Does coincidence really exist?

Everything you desire from life is in front of you – even if you cannot see it [yet].
You are not separate from your circumstances.

Challenge yourself to build your foundation.
Live your Universal Truth.

A limitless life is a choice…
